Students these days have got immense pressure on themselves and therefore there arises a need of a community where the entire group of Students can come together and share and explain the problems which they come across during their academic year. Joining student communities is not only beneficial in terms of solving the problems related to their College projects during the academic year, but it may also be helpful for the students in organising some creative events or extracurricular activities for themselves where the students can have an opportunity to showcase their talents not in only in front of their seniors but also to the entire college faculties. Every University has a Alumni Association in it where the head of the association plays an important role in taking major decisions regarding the Benefits of the students. The year 2012, we witnessed a major chaos amongst the students where one of the Question papers got leaked and the university now has decided to take a re-examination of the leaked paper. Here in this case the entire Students committee came together in filing a petition to the university against re-examination.

The Alumni Community is also helpful for the students as such in guiding those students in a proper direction as such to make a career out of a particular field. They can also provide them with a proper contact regarding the placements of Job. Those students who are willing to learn more and who have the capability to learn ahead but due to financial problems they are unable to do so, for them the student community comes to the rescue as such providing funds for those students who are in need. The Alumni being the master of what they have achieved can make use of there Knowledge-Base for those who sometimes find it difficult to grasp some of the topics which there professors have taught them, and any Alumni member of the committee can help the one who are in need of it.

The committee can always come up with innovative ideas as such conducting a group discussion among the students regarding a particular topic where together the entire committee can make a wise decision for the betterment of there on student’s faculty.

College Ragging have been these days taken a toll in several colleges exploiting the students and thereby making the students tentative about attending regular college. There have been incidents where students have taken fatal decisions as such ending their life due to excessive ragging in college premises. In such cases the Student committee can take effective measures against those students involved in Ragging.
